Can We Consider PPC Part Of SEO

I want to start this post with explaining what is PPC for anyone who is new to SEO and might not know what it is.

PPC is Pay per click (also called Cost per click (CPC) ) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the hosting service when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Most widely used is google AdWords. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system.

PPC is a paid for nearly instant result whereas seo if you do it yourself is a much slower but a much more lets say permanent way to get to the top as long as you keep it up. Once you stop paying Google, your results disappear. So can we count PPC as part of SEO if you have to pay for it.

I personally think that PPC can not be considered as part of organic SEO. For SEO you need knowledge of the back linking, HTML among other things. Anyone can get an google AdWords account and promote their website. But not to diminish the importance of the PPC. If you have the budget its good idea to use both SEO and PPC in tandem for best results, can double or even treble up using Google Places for some of sites best keywords, makes brand look professional if has a strong presence with 2 to 3 mentions of site.
